Going up the stairs from the cargo bay floor, brings you to the balcony. From here you can cross the catwalk to go to engineering, go up some more into the game room or exercise room, or simply go through the nearest door and into the living quarters.

This is the main entry point for entering the ship, though there are other airlocks that you can enter through, this is the one more likely to be used. Holding a large airlock in the front, it opens up to allow passengers on and cargo if they have any.
