In the beginning, no one is quite sure what had happened. Did god create man? Did he, or even she, create the universe, the galaxies within, and the worlds for life to live on? No one is quite sure all they have are theories about what they think could have happened. Scientists say its evolution, but can they explain where land came from if it was all nothing? Those of religion, say god created life in six days, yet we stand here imperfect because of Lucifer. If god 'created' us, how could we be anything but good? Questions without answers is all we are wound up with, but never the less, people have been speculating what else was out there. Superman, Stargate, X-Files, Firefly, and several more movies, TV shows, and even games speculate what's out there. Yet still, none of them truly know, not even I do. But here is the truth of Marauder's Nebula...
Far away from our precise Earth, life of all kinds roams freely in space and on land. They act like us, have emotions like our own, sleep and eat just like us, yet some do not look like us. Humans, or otherwise known as Trales (pronounced trails), survive with races that even our wildest dreams couldn't put together. The Trales started off on their home planet, Pengard[/u]. It is similar to Earth in almost every way, upon it people live, love, and kill all just to survive. However, Trales have developed faster having more geniuses birthed upon Pengard[/u] leading to advancements in almost every area known to man. Soon, they took to the skies, shortly after, they launched into space. Only fifty years after the first rocket launched, the Trales became space explorers.
Exploring the worlds around, they found them to be similar to their own and life was upon each one. The first beings they found, were the Dagas. Dagas were similar to themselves, but they held the secret to unlocking the mind. This caused them to live over a hundred years and barely age over fifty. Naturally smarter, they also unlocked something else, magic, or what they call kel'tar. Kel'tar uses the atoms around, creating what the caster wants to be done and through concentration, magic is created. There are several different types of magic depending on the way kel'tar is being used, but you all should know that by now. If you do not, the types are restoration, conjuration, alteration, evocation, illusion, and mysticism.
All kinds of races rest within the system they were in, but feuds also came with the territory of this exploration. A warring race called the Nygis were the first true enemies of the Trales and Dagas. Because of this, they were at war for nearly ten years. That is when Trales and Dagas made a single government and called it the Alliance[/u]. Two people from each race were put in charge and they were deemed the Forged[/u]. The Forged[/u] planned every battle after the alliance and with their combined forces, the Nygis soon fell to them. In just two years, a total of 12 years in war, the Nygis were defeated. A few still survived through an allying themselves with the Alliance[/u], but the others that denied this alliance quickly became slaves. The Nygis were abnormal people, but they still looked like the Trales and the Dagas. However, many of them held scars from battles and their bodies were slightly larger in size, specially compared to the Dagas. Though the peaceful Nygis were always found beating something in order to keep their warring instincts at bay.
The Alliance[/u] took hold of several planets and reached out their hands after the alliance between the 3 races. Corrupted by power, they wanted more and as they conquered the outer planets, they still concentrated on the central planets more so than the others. Sending their soldiers out to the others to enforce their law, they kept most of them on the central planets. A few of the planets managed to stay free from the Alliance[/u]'s control only because of some ancient machine they used to fend them off with. There are only three planets that are uncontrolled however and those three made a government of their own called the Kings[/u], the name derived from the fact they were able to fend off the other government. However the Kings[/u] have less rules than the Alliance[/u] just adhere to the normal ones, such as no murdering, stealing, and so on.
