Upon reaching the exercise room, he removed his jacket and tossed it onto the weight rack nearby. Staring at the dummy that rested off to the side of the room, he began to remove his button up shirt, and tossed it onto his jacket. Wrapping his fingers around the pegs, he began to pull out the dummy so it was away from the wall. Kicking his boots off, he let them topple over to the wall by the weights and he simply removed his socks. Making his way to wards the cabinet in the room, he pulled the doors open and pulled out some wrap as he wrapped his hands within the white bandage. With it being tight, but not too tight, he tossed the bandage back into the cabinet and he slammed the doors shut.
Rolling his neck, he turned to face the dummy and moved up to wards it. Curling his fingers into fists, he began to practice. A hit there, it hit here, he took his time with each as he started off rather slow. Hitting the pegs, the dummy began to spin with the hits now. Moving up his left arm, he smacked another peg with an open hand only to duck beneath a peg now spinning for his head. His pace began to pick up as he pushed the training beyond his limits. Each hit was hard an precise and his body moved with ease. Of course, the occasional peg smashed against him, normally hitting his sides with rather dangerous pressure. Feeling the stings of the pegs against his skin, he began to pick up speed, his mind concentrating upon his work. Narrowing his eyes, his hands reached out, stopping pegs, attacking the core and hitting another peg. As the hook that rested along the ground began to came around, Lucius set his foot against the core as he pushed off doing a quick back flip only to land in a wobble a few feet away.
However, this didn't stop him from going back as he jumped into the hail of pegs and went back to his training. His sides began to show the bruises and his brow began to sweat, yet he didn't stop, not even for a second as he pushed his body beyond all limits, he had to, for some odd reason, he had a tension building within him that just wouldn't die down. He was beginning to believe it was because of Mercy, the things she said and the way she said them. Somewhere deep down, part of him knew how she felt, but he himself knew nothing of it, only felt the tension of his subconscious. It was almost like his body was at war with itself and this was the best way to express it.
